The women come to the grave. Christ appears to the two disciples on their way to Emmaus, stands in the midst of his disciples, opens their understanding in the scriptures, gives them a charge, and ascends up to heaven.

24 On the morrow after the Sabbath, early in the morning, the women went to the tomb, bringing the spices they had prepared and other women with them. ² And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre,
